The series of drawings Adumbrate, which means to faintly outline, are visually open and faintly seen. These drawings are made from scuffing gold coloured foil. These images are more or less visible as the viewer changes their angle of sight, and are based on images by Else Bostelmann from William Beebe’s first deep sea dives in Bermuda of fish that have never been seen again.
