The works in Nonsuch Island: Sea vue assert planes of differentiation and in/visibility through material expressions of lines and lines of vision. Concerned with perspective, ocean narratives, sheen and the barely visible, these works predominantly use textiles to draw spaces around and through bodies. This exhibition combines a silk trapunto quilt, sculpture, drawings and knitworks that coalesce through notions of line thematically, metaphorically and as process.
